This issue combines the reissue of Sessions on Masterdisc, with improved audio, and the bonus disc that came with it, an EP titled Leave My Kitten Alone. All tracks are pitch, phase and level corrected. There is a very slight improvement in the sound quality because the tracks are no longer out of phase. Rather than being a noticeable upgrade, it is more like rotating the lens until the image sharpens. Phase analysis shows this tape source to be two, or possibly three generations away from the master. Still, the Masterdiscs are the best sounding discs of this material ever put out by any label. There were discrepancies in playback speed for each of the tracks, with Ob-La-Di / Christmas Time being a semitone fast. These are all straightened out now.

Release notes: This CD contains primarily the famous Sessions material from the unreleased 1985 album, along with a mix of studio outtakes.

However, this also contains a very special Dry Mix of Yes It Is Take 14. For this reason this CD is very desirable as before this release it was not available elsewhere.
