In the year 3000, the deep space salvage ship Mother III locates the vanished starship Demeter in the Carpathian System. Captain Abraham Van Helsing and his crew composed of the blonde assistant Aurora Ash; the crippled navigator Arthur The Professor Holmwood, who believes that he is a genius; the strong and dumb Humvee; the intern Mina Murry; and the drug addicted 187, decide to claim the possession of Demeter. While exploring the spacecraft, they see a tape of fifty years ago of Captain Varna telling that he was locked in his cabin since his crew was acting weird after getting a cargo of coffins in Transylvania station.

Udo Kier is without a doubt the sickliest of vampires in any directors interpretation of the Bram Stoker tale. Count Dracula knows that if he fails to drink a required amount of pure virgins [pronounced wirgins] blood, its time to move into a permanent coffin. His assistant (Renfield?) suggests that the Count and he pick up his coffin and take a road trip to Italy, where families are known to be particularly religious, and therefore should be an excellent place to search for a virgin bride. They do, only to encounter a family with not one, but FOUR virgins, ready for marriage. The Count discovers one-by-one that the girls are not as pure as they say they are, meanwhile a handsome servant/Communist begins to observe strange behaviour from the girls who do spend the night with the Count. Its a race for Dracula to discover whos the real virgin, before he either dies from malnourishment or from the wooden stake of the Communist!

For those who wanted to play the levels that were not included in the Playstation version and also wanted to play with Maria Renard.
There is not really much difference between the two versions but it is an enjoyable game anyway.
